Droping Of Stomch Pregnncy

work more

A post to update those who wanted to follow our events of recent weeks.

The renewal of agreements with the municipalities that rely on the kennels Paquito is going smoothly. The new supply agreement, as you know, reduces costs for administrations and adds a range of services for citizenship, is enjoying the favor of all the directors that we encounter. The most critical situation, the one with the municipality of Borgoticino, has been solved. Misunderstandings and superficiality with which he was addressing the issue have given way to a renewed mutual confidence and were asked the foundations for an even more fruitful collaboration.

We are not yet out of trouble but it is probably time to begin to rationalize the events and do some reflection.

We are increasingly aware that the approach to 'kennel question' we are doing has all the features of a real cultural revolution. As long as the shelter will remain in people's minds, a refuge for outcasts, it will be impossible to escape from the logic of "cost me less - I'm better." If the kennel is only a burden to society, the less weight the better. In this context, talk of services, value of animals, such as respect for animals can contribute to building a more welcoming, it is a hopeless enterprise. Therefore serves a great job of education and information. But we are comforted by the fact that on every occasion when we had the opportunity to present our principles we have found sensitivity and openness. And 'as if, perhaps unconsciously, everyone is ready to accept the message, even if' message 'is something disruptive and that goes far beyond the fences of the kennel. For some days I'm thinking about what is the heart of this message, its center. I try to express it in a few words at the risk of not being real if you do not understand: "There is a model of society sustainable not centered on the human life of all animals, including the human animal. "

Despite the certainty of being part of a large group I was struck by the mobilization that is being waged around us in this time of difficulties. Hundreds of people responded to our appeal, we helped as best they could and were made available to do more. They did give credit to our commitment, trusting our personal, secure in the fact that if Dog's Soul considers it necessary to take an action on behalf of animals then that action is really necessary. Of this I can not thank Angela Vaira and all people who identify Think Dog sincerely that a so important role in all this. For years now, just with Angelo reflect upon how important it is to enhance and develop the huge potential that has led to Think Dog. The events of recent days have given us new insights, new ideas and a strong sense of urgency.

know what's new? That we need to work even more than before, more and more convinced of the goodness of what we do. In my next post I will present a few 'projects we have planned for 2010. Stay tuned for big news in store!

:-)

Beppe!
